This is the Khoisan stair. On 2004 sportsman Polaris used 3 stator. This is an 18-pole stator od 108mm, thickness 26mm. For the correct part, check physical.

Replaces oem rec reg if built between and for 04 sportsman, Polaris used multiple stator. Has a 390 ohm trigger. For 05 sportsman 700 non efi there are 2 stator. It also has an odd 6-gang connector white molded plastic w clips sides and uses standard 250 female spade terminals.

18-pole stator, od is 108mm thickness 18mm. Replaces oem no connectors if using on 2004 sportsman 500 4x4 part is a 12-pole stator. Replaces ems and rec reg if built between sportsman, Polaris used 3 different stator.
